Update from the homefront >>>> we now have a countertop on our kitchen cabinets! Running water -- no! Countertop -- yes! And it's that time of year when we rearrange the furniture in the house for the ideal placement of the artificial Christmas tree. At least I can now sit on a couch in our bedroom and watch Monday Night Football.

Speaking of NFL, now I'm not a huge Tennessee Titans fan, and I'm not especially tolerant of the behavior of those millionaire players, but a $5000 fine for giving a team-mate a high-five? (4th paragraph).GIMME-A-BREAK. OBTW, I don't understand the significance of the throat-slash gesture, so I'll pass on commenting on that one.
