You have got to be kidding! Los Angeles outlaws hard drives with any master / slave labels!
Sheesh - there's a city council that needs something to do.

Update! I had to share the picture of the shrine with you.

Once a computer nerd, always a computer nerd. Here's my current desktop image:

Working 12 - 14 hr days and building a shrine to our cable modem has kept me pretty busy this week. All our kinfolk from both sides of the family are coming to our house Wed. night for Thanksgiving -- even if we don't have a countertop on our new kitchen cabinets. Maybe more photos later.

Enjoy the time off,

YeeHaaw!
My buddy, pal, and ex-co-conspirator Dave mentions Pulaski, TN in his blog. One small fact has remained rather low-key about the community -- some Olympic Events are being held there today.

Who said I had no culture?

I travel on business somewhat infrequently, but when I do, it's usually after business hours and I prep myself well on routes in and out of airports. Case in point: Baltimore (BWI). I knew I would be arriving around 9:30 PM on a weekday, and having never used BWI as a final destination, I perused the BWI website and found this handy map.

Cool. I like details. I arrived and negotiated the terminal/parking construction fairly well and made a quick exit to my destination in Pennsylvania.

Two days later, I'm zipping along in the left lane around 7PM on I195 enroute to the airport, and I took a casual glance at the "Last Trucks Exit Here" exit sign. What?!? A blue, postage stamp-sized "Rental Car Return" sign is hanging off the right guardrail of the bridge [ok, maybe it was cookie sheet-sized]. Ever watch a redneck cross all the lanes of traffic to exit? I gotta tell ya, I didn't have time to take a picture.

Construction is a good thing; it shows progress. But a teeny-weeny bit more notice of the rental car return at an airport is not too much to ask, is it?

Time for more culinary delights -- lunchtime.

What a way to begin a blog....

When a man comes home on Sunday nite, he wants something manly to eat for his first dinner of the week -- so this evening I devoured two (2) fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Actually, it was pretty good ... a nice break from pizza.
